Well, a few days ago, I watched the Futurama episode Zapp Ding Bat. It was... funny. It just, straight up had me laughing and facepamling the whole time; it was a sheer delight for me
There are a few shippy moments (and I mean FEW), but, leave it to ~Tastes-Like-Fry to exploit it joyously
So... I made 'dis little piece
This song came on the radio today, and that just TOTALLY set the mood for this pic --> [link]
And yeah I know the song's a little, uh... "twangy", but the lyrics really were sweet/mushy enough for me to enjoy

The weird thing is that my parents never really put any rules on me, but I seemed to set them for myself. haha I think I could go to bed when I wanted in middle school, but gave myself a bed time based on what tv families would do. I also was very embarrassed by some of the material on Futurama. Particularly the Snu-Snu- episode. lol

I wasn't really "not allowed" to watch certain things on TV. Mum basically was like, "Yes, you can watch what you want, but know that it's just a movie/TV show/game and does not have to decide who you are, how you speak, and how you treat people."
Soo... yeah. Even if a show had swearing, I knew I wasn't allowed to swear. They could do it on TV, I couldn't do it in real life. Simple as that

Like, when I was 7, my bros would watch the Simpsons and I'd really wanna watch it even though it's not for kids (though it's rater tame compared to a lot of other Adult Cartoons)
But... well... my bed time was 8:00pm... WHEN IT CAME ON! lol
And though she was a bit weary about me watching, it's not like I started calling my parents by their first name or saying HAHA randomly
