Thunder Blight had already attack Spiral's friends now she's after the blue and green Alicorn himself. Spiral decided to face the dark Alicorn head on because he knew Bliss was still in there. He just had to reach her. He attempted to talk to her but that quickly made him realize that talking was out of the question. Spiral managed to lead Thunder Blight away from Ponyville to the castle of mirrors. The ruins still bore the marks from the last battle that had taken place there. Spiral took a hit from Thunder Blight and felt every draining away. That's when Blight in his shadow form reappeared. The shadow Alicorn made a deal with Spiral. Blight would lead and control his power so it's not as unstable as it normally is. But Spiral still has control over his body. The result is a fusion of looks and personalities. Thunder Blight can sense the power rolling off him and she doesn't like it.
