It was as if he was drowning,His notebook keeping him a float.
And all his thoughts were binding,
Holding on desperately inside his throat.
Death seemed to surreal, but natural.
He felt not an ounce of fear.
But his empathy was rational,
He knew they would drown in tears.
But what could he do to post pone his awaiting death?
He had acknowledged its stalking for years.
He had done all he wanted, becoming a dent,
Yet, there was no denying his final day was near.
He could not cry, not at all.
His last days were anything but tears.
He loved them all, he could no ignore any call.
And he loved them, he loved them all.
But the Reaper was beckoning,
And could not be ignored.
So while he dreamed of another day,
Unwillingly, he died.

I think it needs a teeny bit of editing, just to make it flow better [unless you read it to me, you probably read it at different beat, I find people do that usually]
It's about Jimmy I'm assuming, and it really does lay out that he was an unselfish friend, and that he cared about everyone because he knew he would be a great loss to them.

I thought I'd write something a little more uplifting about him, and make it very obvious that he didn't intend of dying, but he always knew.
I don't like the ending too much, I just couldn't think of a way to finish it. I may touch it up later.

Well I think all of it is good, I like the ending because it's just plain and simple, no metaphor or anything, and that gives it a bigger impact I find ^^
