In tagalog myth, Mayari is the goddess of hunt, revolution, strength, moon and night.Apolaki- the sun god wanted to rule the earth alone while Mayari insisted on equal rights. As the fighting got heated, the two start attacking each other until Mayari lost an eye. After that, Apolaki agreed to share their role but at different times.
