So... KoG is making a new char for GC and I was like "OMGWDF ANOTHER ONE?! WHAT BOUT THE MISSING CONTENT FOR THE OLD CHARS?!?! D:<"But then I saw her and I was like "screw what I said, shes cute, nuff said c:"

I hate all new characters.
THEY PLAY NO ROLE IN THE STORY.
From Ley and beyond. They have no purpose what so EVER. They just throw them in, the characters do not even make sense.
Rufus passes the line, but the rest are just random characters thrown in.

they always end up reworking the story anyways to include new characters. since the game was based on a manhwa, the plot now changes to accommodate for the characters that were not in the manhwa.
(also, how is ley not related to the plot? she's pretty damn related imo)
i can understand current hate for rufus, rin, asin, and now lime. but please remember they will soon be added to the story (if KoG even cares about the story anymore, which i doubt.)

I haven't seen the current storyline, but I'm sure the goal and plot will be moves somewhere else. Again.
It's almost going to be impossible to find the real story line in the new one if they keep on modifying.

it frustrates me too. i don't particularly disagree with your opinion on the new characters. because they keep adding new content, they keep retcon'ing the previous plot and changing it again. in this way, the MMO's plot is never consistent, and it becomes frustrating to deal with or make sense of. i have to change my headcanon/theory things every time there is a new character or new dungeon added that reveals something entirely different.
for the KoG writers, the plot is not important to them, which depresses me a little, since their story has more potential than they realize.
for me, i wish they would finish what they have started. for example, zero's 3rd job, mari's st, and so forth.
