Orf....Loudred....that's one annoyance during Battle Royal. Still, better to fight that thing than dealing with Tauros or one of the Dragon types.

That...kinda stinks.
Put simply, four Trainers duke it out in a free-for-all with three Pokémon each. The winner is the one who scored the most KOs while having the healthiest team - you could have just one KO, and you'd still win if the other three Trainers lose all of their Pokémon.
And in a situation like that, even weak Pokémon like Smeargle have a chance to shine. POWER OF ART, BABY!

If I wasn't strad for cash, I'd send you my spare 3DS and a copy of Pokemon Sun. I know a lot of people say Battle Royal is unfair - especially since the AI uses tactics usually seen in tournaments - but once you figure it out, it's really fun.
And to be honest, I always feel a sense of personal victory when I see Smeargle pass 21 stat boosts to my Sylveon right before Sylvi WRECKS shop with Hyper Voice. Eight KOs in three turns? Yes, please!
