More: Adele’s origin is unknown, but he has lived a majority of his life in London. He was born into a small noble family of his mother, father, and two younger sisters. However, as a young child, he was sent off into knighthood like his father was when he was a boy. At eight years of age he was sent to a neighboring castle to begin his training into knighthood. He spent most of his time strengthening his body, wrestling and riding horses. He also learned how to fight with a spear and a sword. He was also taught to read and write by a schoolmaster, and was taught some Latin and French. The lady of the castle taught him how to sing and dance and how to behave in the king’s court as well.
At the age of fifteen or sixteen, the boy became a squire in service to a knight. His duties included dressing the knight in the morning, serving all of the knight’s meals, caring for the knight’s horse, and cleaning the knight’s armor and weapons. He followed the knight to tournaments and assisted his lord on the battlefield. He also prepared himself by learning how to handle a sword and lance while wearing forty pounds of armor and riding a horse. However, his lord, Sir Conrad, was a pedophile. He often harassed Adele, often raping him or abusing the boy, even though there were witnesses to his actions of abusing the boy, not a word was uttered, as Sir Conrad was a highly respected knight and was one of the wealthiest men of his time.

When Adele reached twenty two, the age appropriate to finally be knighted by the king, Henry II of the time, he began to prepare for the dubbing. As he was preparing, dressing in the robes due for the ceremony, he was visited once again by Sir Conrad. The two had an argument, mostly about Sir Conrad wanting to keep Adele as his squire, as with only his permission he could advance into knighthood. The argument escalated into a fight and eventually, Adele lost his temper and murdered Sir Conrad. The room was flooded with guards in less than a second, Adele was arrested almost instantly and was sent to prison for life.
However, when he reached the cells, he was greeted with an insane cellmate who spoke of demons, witchcraft and whatnot. Interested, Adele listened to him, and had even known about such beforehand, his schoolmaster teaching him about Satan and sins and so on, however, as a curious child he read up on demons and how one were to summon them. In less than a week, he managed to gather the supplies and knowledge to summon a demon, using his cellmate as a sacrifice to call upon it.

To his surprise, a demon actually appeared before him. There was idle conversation before the demon, Regem (Latin for ‘king’), proposed a deal for immortality. The deal was that he would trade his soul for immortality; it was the basic procedure for most demons. However, as the ritual was interrupted half way by the guards and it did not go according to plan. Part of the demon itself merged with Adele, taking a small portion of his body in its form, his right eye. The ritual was completed, but with one setback. Another conscious was set inside Adele, but took no physical form other than his eye. The conscious' presence within Adele changed his personality completely, how he used to be a respectful, polite, mild-mannered knight character, he shifted into a demonic, sadistic, uncaring character, which also forced some cannibalistic traits onto the human, giving him a hunger for human flesh and blood.
When the demon merged with Adele, it controlled his mind completely, and his body too, and did so to kill the guards in the prison, and all the inmates as well as a sheer act of mindless anger. Adele disappeared after this and returned a century later, he had then gotten a better control of his consciousness, but the traits of Regem still lingered within him. He had struck a deal up with a house, Archer, in which he had ownership over each forth child within the house, in exchange however, he must protect the house with his immortal life.

Adele had committed many crimes and offenses over the years under the demon's control, such as the murder of Alto Rester's mother Alicia, Alicia and her husband Stephan were being chased down by Adele when they attempted to slay him (being hunters, they were hired to do so) but failed in their attempt, so were forced to flee and abandon their child in a nearby orphanage. However, they were soon caught, and the woman was murdered by him, Stephan however, managed to fight him off enough to escape.
He was the leader of the mafia gang who kidnapped Julius Avid's sister and murdered her, he was murdered by Julius himself years later, but came back to life soon after that.
He murdered Ash and Aleister Cyphers' parents as well, knowing who their children was, a Sage Cyphers, a famous hunter. He did this to send his brothers to him, and perhaps use them as a hostages to kill the man himself, is still in planning this however.

Brief Personality and Behavior: Adele is emotionless and generally calm. In regards to his job, he is strict, follows the rules precisely, and seems extremely devoted. He rarely shows any sign of alarm or distress and often has entire situations planned out well in advance. Adele initially appears to be a very kind and well-respected. However, this is just a mask to disguise his manipulative and very dangerous nature.
