Hello everyone, here is the special Halloween page that I promised. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, with one exception with Yo-Han's colors, I wish I chose a darker grey as a brown for his shading on his coat. It just makes him look muddy instead of in the shadows lol. Other than that though, I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. Much better than my last page!
So these are the characters that I will be focusing on in the next couple of issues, which is Megumi, Yo-Han, and Clare. In this page, they all dressed up in their costumes for Halloween. Yo-Han, I couldn't really think of a costume to go for him that is kind of "halloweenie," so I just dressed him as a Bloodborne hunter, from the game "Bloodborne." It was either that, or the gang member from the movie, "Clockwork Orange." On hindsight, I wish I did the Clockwork orange costume because right now it just looks like a coat or a pirate as oppose to an actually themed costume. But I when with the blood borne character because of the video game references the other two have. By now, some of you probably know I'm a fighting game junkie so of course I had to squeeze some of my favorite fighting game characters in there!
Clare, is dressed up as Morrigan from the "Darkstalker" series. I figured that Clare is very open about personal space, and sexuality that she would seem like the type to pick the beautiful Morrigan up!Β Megumi is dressed up as one of my favorite fighting game characters, "Jack'O" from the Guilty Gear series. She fits a good Megumi, as being carefree, playful, and charming while taking care of business. Plus, Megumi I feel would look better than Clare as a Blonde. When doing this, I tried to keep some features of the original character in them costumes. Hence, Clare has her short messy hair, and brown eyes even though Morrigan has long straight hair with greenish eyes. Plus, Clare as usual is just fixated on Megumi.Β Megumi has her scarf and purple eyes, with a more messy hair look from her original design, while Jack'O has straight hair and red eyes. I just kind of wanted to make sure people can identify who they are from the original series.
Well, I'll be working on the next page now. I will probably be a lot slower in it as I will be very busy the next couple of weeks with work and family visiting.
