Immediately when I saw this piece I thought: This is something I would hang across my wall. The soft edges of the leaves of this rose due to the nice soft focus makes it a treat to look at. The composition of the piece is really well chosen, the curves of the flower lead the eye towards every corner of the image. Also due to the colour, this piece has a calming effect on me, even though it isn't a very large image. Another great example of the fact that size doesn't matter (lol). It still is a very striking piece to me, my compliments to Mehtap!

Good macro of rose. Colors are soft and don't hurt eyes - I like this colors' scheme. The photo seems to be macro of rose and some strange spiral at once - very interestin' effect.
Author cared about lightning and general view of the photo- it isn't this type of images that were taken accidentally.

But there're some failures that spoil general view:

1. It isn't first macro of rose - this photo isn't very original, but I have to mark that this flower is shown in very different way.
2. Quality could be better - I can see pixels.
3. It isn't very sharp - but author probably couldn't get better effect - for this kind of photography we usually need special lenses.
