Yanoda covered some stuff already but I'd also like to add - be careful with the shadow colours. Right now she looks (slightly) like she's made of metal or her fur is singed. Other than that good job! You have not failed me...for now.

Looks great!
A few recommendations:
- the shadows cast by Rarity, the pillars and stand all face in different directions... also try to adjust the shadows so they mimic how light casts shadows. Rarity has the shadow at a greater angle than the pillars and the stand.
- The inner tail is missing some shadings as well, currently it looks like the default shading from the show. Just make the inside fills a bit more darker. Maybe also add a bit to the mane.
- The side of the book should also have a bit of shading.

hhm, yeah the direction of the shadow from the stand is kinda off, but the ones cast by rarity and the pillars... well, i guess i could change that a littl too. shades on the book are missing because i simply didn't really know what to do there and rarity's tail... are you kidding? like it hasn't enough gradients(even without any shading) already xD
anyway, i will look into the things you mentioned and see if i can come up with a better solution, not today though. x)
