What an excellent Kurama cosplay! It deserves praise. You have managed to capture his spirit very well here. I enjoy the vines, and how they twirl around him, also I believe the costume is spot on. The wig is excellent, though I personally think it shouldn't have been as curly, perhaps a little more straighter, with a brighter shade of red..? But there are a few things that I might mention. For instance, this may seem a bizarre and personal question to ask, but did the girl playing Kurama bind her breasts? It's a little painful, but you can clearly see that this is a female, at least I can, from the flow of the fabric across the chest. I know many women who have bound their breasts when they play Kurama, Yusuke, Hiei, etc. I wonder if this young woman did the same. Also, I would have loved to have seen this picture with better lighting. Was it cloudy outside? Were you underneath a structure? Something is blocking out the light, and it's causing the picture to look so darn dark. I would have shot this photo on a sunny day, and made sure that the light was well played.

this is by far the best cosplay of him i've ever seen!
most girls make him look WAY too girly, while I don't think that this is how a real Kurama would look like. Of course his face has to be girly, it doesn't mean he has to become a fucking drag queen!
i absolutely hate when cosplayers look like drag queens, nothing against them, but that only shows you're trying way too hard to look cool

Hands down the most beautiful Kurama cosplay I've ever seen. The only thing I can say is maybe straighten some of the curls in the front of your wig. But, this is one of those cases that is accuracy vs. Aesthetics.

Thank you! ^^ Ahh yeah I plan on straightening it some more. I lightly hot water treated it to make it straighter but I didn't realize until after it dried that it was still pretty curly xD

Yeah I kinda have the same problem with my Grell wig. It gets frizzled at the bottom. If it's a good quality wig though you can almost go up to boiling water without damaging it. I wouldn't try it with a Halloween store wig, but it looks like your could hold up to it. But again, it sort of works for what your going for. Makes Kurama look a little softer. Which is good when your doing his human form.

It's good quality enough that the hot water won't ruin it, but I have had the problem before with just dumping hot water on a wig and the wig being TOO flat. Mhmm, thanks!

What I do with my Grell wig is I take just like a cup of boiling water and just do the ends rather than dumping boiling water over the top of the wig. Just do the curly parts.
