Personality: Junko usually reads as being pretty meek and quiet. Her body language is usually very closed off - however, she actually longs to make friends, though her own anxious thoughts usually keep her from speaking out. She runs through scenarios over and over in her heads, to the point where she exhausts herself and gives up on trying new things. Junko also has a bad habit of deciding she knows how people feel before they've even spoken - for instance, it's easy for her to decide someone hates her, even if they've only talked once. This stems from her very low self esteem, and she's also quite humble to fault, rejecting any type of compliment or praise she gets.

She cares very much about other people, and even if she never speaks to you, you can be sure she's putting you over herself. She can't fathom not doing this, and when people get frustrated with her behavior she can't do anything more than say she's sorry - in fact she apologizes for almost everything she does, preemptively in case something she did was wrong. However, the more you get to know her you'll find that she's actually a bit of a spaz - she's easily excited and really quite smiley about things that don't involve her. Junko loves cute things, and has an especially soft spot for animals.

Her deepest wish is to be able to perform for other people; she is a talented singer but can't bring herself to show it off to anyone. Her dream is to do it professionally, but how can she expect to do that when she clams up in front of people?

Biography:
Junko was born to an Italian/Japanese couple - her mother was a quiet librarian in Tokyo, and her father was an Italian underwear model who met his wife when going to Tokyo on a job. After getting married her father decided to settle down in Japan with his wife, requesting mostly local jobs when possible (though he would travel if neccessary) They had their daughter a few years after that, and right off the bat it was clear they were going to be a happy family. Junko was quiet but easily pleased.

Her mother read books to Junko every night and her father, a big opera fan, would put Junko on his lap and play his favorite arias for her. They both fostered a love of reading and music in Junko, and while she still loved reading, as she grew older she requested more music - she took classes and went to many performances in her area.

By the time she reached middle school she was well versed in music history and singing - she was even looking at applying to the local music and arts highschool! However, in her first year, one of her performances went very wrong - every thing that could go badly, did. The worst moment though was when she went to sing and a loud squawk came out instead. tears welled up in her eyes as her peers laughed, and ever since that day she was rendered unable to perform. Her already meek personality was badly shaken, causing her self-esteem to drop and her to become more closed off. Mean kids in her grade who she hadn't even met would make fun of her, which caused her to develop opinions of herself for other people.

Her parents were obviously quite concerned, but nothing seemed to shake Junko out of this funk. She almost seemed like a frightened shell of her former self. As the next few years past she settled into it more, though she was much happier at home and with her parents. She ended up not applying to the other highschool, instead applying to Seiyo Academy. However, Junko felt in her heart that she was almost giving up on her dream for good. She wished and wished that she could just get her confidence back, and be able to perform once again with a smile on her face - that was what brough her Heart Egg into being.
