Maybe a hack, but if so, I believe he'll put a comment like "This one' hacked, this is my new account" or something like so.

It seems now that MEIDOco simply abandoned his account here, probably because of the 'over-enthusiastic' moderating of artwork depicting fictional underage cartoon characters.
In all honesty I can't blame him.
Exactly what significance Mugi and/or K-On! have to the situation I can't begin to guess, but it seems that MEIDOco is continuing to create his works elsewhere, presumably for more tolerant hosters; I've definitely seen one new piece that was unmistakeably his work, though I can't seem to find it again now.
In particular, he has an account on Pixiv...
