I made this pretty pikachu set for monster high doll. About 6-7 hours from start to finish.i feel doll clothes takes just as long as human clothes!
So if anyone tell you it takes 5 mins, then, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! xD
The set consist of a top and a skirt.

OMG IT'S SO CUTE!
And this shit DOES take a few hours. Depending on what you're making. The fastest I have ever finished a piece of doll clothing was 15-30ish minutes, and that's only because it was super simple, made of felt, and I was hot gluing instead of sewing XD And I had already made one or two and figured out how the pattern/assembly worked best, so I could get through it faster.

Yes, i agree. If you do it the "easy" way by NOT sewing every bit, it will def be faster.
I just learned by my trial and errors that hot glue don't last in the end
So i'll stick with sewing the pieces together, since i want to be able to change clothes and not risk it falling apart easily
I got a whole bag full of felt, i need to find a way to use it. maybe i can figure out how to use it for doll clothes

It works great with felt if it's spread out. And felt works great for "sweaters" and things like that!

Yup! I was expecting to use hours to finish this, but not 6-7 hours xD
From now on, i will have to make sure i got a whole free day, if i want to make a complete outfit in one day
But it was a lot of fun. I learned a lot!

I always find outfits for dolls take way mire tine than I think they will.
I'm about to stay the outfit for my big BJD. I expect it will take forever. Maybe this time will be surprised, and it will take less time. Lol

I got the pikachu fabric on Etsy and the lace on ebay. the yellow fabric i bought in my fabric store ^_^
