Description
This is a panorama of the famous Shanghai waterfront, the Bund, taken at night. Obviously I need practice at these things. Parts of the buildings are cut off and some of the segments are blurry. Since there are probably hundreds of much better panos of the Bund out there, I'm going to allow download and noncommercial use of this one.

The buildings along the Bund don't look Chinese due to Shanghai's imperialist past. Different countries (like Germany, France, and Japan) took over different segments of Shanghai (as well as other parts of China) and exerted their cultural influences, most noticeably on the local architecture.

I like the old side better than the new side. What about you?
