Description Male hamerkops build an enormous nest to attract females. This guy did so, but since the Aviary doesn't have any female hamerkops, his efforts are for naught. Talk about sexual frustration.

Beautiful capture. Perhaps consider cropping it square to get rid of the leaves at the top

Hmm... I experimented with a square crop and it gets a little too tight for me. The main problem is that stupid leaf in the foreground! If not for that, I wouldn't want to get rid of the leaves. Thanks for the suggestion
