Over winter break, I asked Mike's roommate to bring out his studio lights so we could do a photo shoot of Hedwig. It was fun shooting with studio lights - I'd never done that before. Unfortunately, I didn't get much shooting done, because I took on the role of bird-wrangler as the other two took the photos. I had Hedwig sit on various things and come flying to me in exchange for millet and stuff. So there are some pretty cool shots - but none of them ended up on my camera.Oh well!

Finches and mynahs seem to be the more popular cage birds in Asia - at least, that's how it was in HK where I grew up

I'd like a parrot but the cheapest is over $1000. Besides, I live in an apartment where parrots are banned.
Just saw a news online about a Budgie who can recite its owner's address and telephone number - I've always thought most budgies can only recite single words
