You stared down at the former students lifeless body. She was garishly pale compared to her usually tan skin, it was almost shocking. You reached out and traced a finger along her cold face, making its way down to her neck, stopping on a set of stitches. 'At least they stitched her well enough to have an open casket' you thought. You stood there for a while, not knowing what else to do. You've never felt so awkward, surrounded by people you didn't know nor care about, but you were paying respects to the young girl who didn't deserve to die. Who was murdered by one of your fellow classmates. Or teachers. Nobody knew who did it, and that worried you immensly. Who knew what was to come next?
To the general public, this case was released as a suicide. The last thing AoV needed was an investigation! You sighed, knowing you'd have to take this into your own hands, before anyone else got hurt. Or worse, yourself..
You were so deep in thought that you didn't notice someone standing beside you. You turn to look at the person. He was tall and tan with dark brown hair, and looked to be in his early 20's. He resembled Meiko in the face. Looking up from Meiko, he turns to you. "Hi. I'm Malekai, Meiko's brother." He halfheartedly smiled. "We're you two close?" he asked you, looking back down to his sister, hands in his pockets.
