YEP! 8D I don't think I have much chance of making it to the first round, though, since everything looks so rushed and last minute. >.< I was a a convention this last weekend selling my art and I had to prep for that before I could even think about working on this. x_x I had even decided yesterday that I wasn't going to make it in time so I wasn't going to join, but when I woke up this morning I felt I had to finish at least some sort of entry! I would have been so disappointed if I hadn't even tried, y'know? owo

Thanks! <3
I would recommend any of the Epson Artisan series. I have an Epson Artisan 1430 printer, which is a six color, wide format printer. My printer is only a printer, no scanner or copier, but it comes with a free copy of whatever is the newest version of Photoshop Elements. I can print things that are up to 13" wide, and the color is simply gorgeous! <33 Since it uses six colors (yellow, black, cyan, light cyan, magenta and light magenta) it gets really accurate color, and the cartridges are high capicity so they last for a good while. Unfortunately with six colors it can get really expensive to buy them all at once. I believe it cost me $160 or so dollars to replace all six colors at once. owo However, they did last me a good six or seven months.

I just looked it up on the Epson website, and I can definitely swing that exact model at $250 after rebate and no shipping. Thank you so much for the advice!

Thanks! A brand and model was mainly what I needed to help make this search not insane. I'll be able to number crunch in a day or so to see what my budget is, but I think I can swing at least a lower cost Artisan!
