That drip on his chin and his mouthnosecheekboneseyesocketmass on the top of his body is just gorgeous.
(^ that statement was more dramatic with my hand gestures but you can't see them, it's a shame)

He's actually from a movie I watched a long while ago called Ferngully. Not the best movie by any means, but I remember the character being terrifying when I was about two.
He's pretty much a being made out of pollution, smoke, ect. This just made me think this is what he could have looked like if it hand't been made as a kids movie.
Also just noticed the Eye of Sauron. That pretty much cinches this as as a fairly epic piece of art.
