Description
The main Crystal Gems as they appeared once reformed in the latest Steven Universe episode : Change Your Mind. I am such a huge fan of everyone’s new outfit and of everything that happened within this finale… Be sure that more fanarts are going to follow soon !
I had to actually force myself to go for a simpler style than my usual one due to my tendancy of overloading my drawings with too many details, therefore rendering them pretty ugly. Well, I was trying something new for these three is what I meant !
I think I kind of managed to do something cool with Pearl (probably because her new look might be my favourite out of the three ; such a cool-looking, fashion icon space lesbian) but I quickly fell back into my old habits with Amethyst, and even worse with Garnet.

Many will say that Pearl's new outfit with jacket and pants is a form of maturity clarifying that she is no longer a servant. But what they surely do not know, is that the idea of Pearl's new outfit is based on her outfit in the early concept before the pilot.

Speaking of roots, this reminds me when in Ben 10 Omniverse they did the same with Swampfire, giving it the appearance of its early concept during the development of Ben 10 Alien force.
