I know most of you know that i seldomly draw nowadays. Mostly i take pictures or tinker with images in photoshop but heres a special post that i havent done in so long. Eversince i heard they were making a Transformers movie i got so psyched about it I could not stop collecting everything Transformers related. This is the cartoon show that me and my brother grew up with in the 80's. We absolutely love them! And the recent movie announcement and comic con event have inspired me to go back into drawing and so i created my very first Transformers fan art. It actually feels good to get down and dirty with ye old traditional pencil, paper and eraser so i might find myself doing more of that in the future.

For my subject, this is Ironhide. One of the most memorable (and probably one of my most cherished) Transformer. I added my own feel to him so he doesn't exactly look like the original Generation 1 Ironhide but i tried my best to capture his look. He transforms into a red mini-van (which nowadays i think is lame ). He's known for his eagerness to get things done as well as his unrelenting courage in battle.

Ok enough of my nerdiness. This is actually going to be a colab between my brother (tubenose) and me. Since i suck at coloring digitally i'll leave the expertise to him. So hopefully you'll see a colored version of this soon. (Assuming he doesn't slack off lest i may have to apply a bit of "pressure" to certain ligaments of his )
