Hi Mel, I am real interested, I match overlooked, maybe not underrated as have done some high profile stuff that was well received (illustration) and I am
somewhat of a bad boy ( well I definitely was in my younger surfer punk artist incarnation before wife and three kids!) These days I am more like Walter White
without the Chemistry doctorate and the drug lords.
My good friend Morg loves your work and told me that you were looking for someone to have a go.
I like your work now that I have had a look, cool stuff very cool.... I am 53 so was there in the 70's and 80's, am an Australian so there is a bit of a cultural difference but
not too much ( think you had 300 cable channels and we had....well..nothing, no cable, 4 free to air and thats it.)
Anyhow I am a real quick study when it comes to art styles and ideas, details reference etc.
My website is www.davidlovegrove.com - General art galleries at [link]
Film and TV work at [link]
My comic experience is mainly some minis I did in the 90's, art was really early and not something I want to brag about but not that terrible I suppose.
You will see a 10 page that I sent to Dark Horse New Recruits (laugh) took 18 months to return and no doubt didn't get a look.
So I am keen to get real and do a lot of work and your stories look to be right up my alley!
Cheers, hope to hear from you soon,
Dave

She's wearing a pretty much the same bikini in both versions. In the first version she was wearing a business jacket. In this version she is wearing a business vest to show off her muscles more and state that she's more than a huge chest. Added the slacks to maintain the pan-cultural incongruity with the business suit. And those slacks don't obscure the shape of those meaty legs very much.
I may fiddle with the little harsh and little off model face when I get back to Omaha.
Will mess around with the pencils for a redraw of the atom cover right after super.
