Overall I enjoy the styles of both the boots and skirt of that nature, yet in this photo I find that I like how you have the black contest to the white snow but the skin looks a bit blured out or that could just be the light of the area at the time as it looks deadish on the skin color. I wish the background of the forest was in a clearer view.

If the skirt (or dress) was more ditry per say and not so clean I would had made the point of saying it was as if the model was slowly getting to the point of beind frozen and buried under the snow due to the small snow on the boots front but the dress looks just to clean for that and to clean from an hike in the woods in that weather.

Cool I like people who can really tell why they like a photo and still talk about the "bad" parts
I agree on hte skirt, I did make another version of this in PS where I made the hole image more "dirty, and the skirt looked more worn-out. I just can't find it this image is just scanned the film, not edited in any way...
I do have one more image taken in the same shoot where you van see more of the woods, but it made it less mysterious.. It became more obious, and I like how you just assume that it is trees in the background. but thats me
