Cutie mark /Talent: Being the hybrid offspring of a zebra and a mythical creature linked to olden temples throughout the jungle, left Aurum unable to acquire a cutie mark, since such luxury comes tied to the requirement of being a pony. But do not let your eyes deceive you, and don't judge a book by it's cover. Burly and menacing as Aurum can appear to be, while many can be dubbed to have a silver tongue, this hybrid in particular has quite the golden one instead. Masking his greedy for treasure behind the veil of a fair antiquarian career, Aurum's true talent is to find his way to wealth.
Job: Antiquarian (Selling antiques and valuable ancient treasures, estimating their worth)
Personality: Much like the fact that this hybrid's looks do not dictate his behavior, Aurum's manner of positioning himself in the world might not be what others always expect at first glance. Holding a calm, polite, and eloquent persona, he is rarely ever found openly being rude towards others — if not by passive aggressive snide remarks and jabs — and he is often quite helpful even towards those he has a distaste for.
Which helps him pave a route between him and any potential target.
Aurum can be calculating and even a touch cruel when it comes to business, but with those who he truly likes, that mask falls right off. If you manage to get close enough to this kitty behemot, he shows himself easily excited over ancient things such as temples, ruins, ghost towns, and other things forgotten to the sands of time. He can be quite playful and exuberant, but on the counter side, Aurum usually pushes down his own negative feelings and anger, letting those toxic energies accumulate until they come out in an explosive manner.
Short Bio/ Back story: Born to a healthy litter of tripplets, Aurum at first was nothing but a mere mewling ball of fur with oversized floppy ears and a cute shovel like tail-tip, being easily one of the most adorable things one could have come across. But as time goes on, things changed... As the hybrid easily grew to be the biggest member of the trio, clocking in at quite a few centimeters taller than Nagual, and towering over his older sister Nemean.
Zecora was always a good mother, despite any small fails or slight blunders in raising her children, while Ahuizotl... Was a bit of a complicated point in their family's story and dynamics. Proud as he is of his litter, the mythical creature has a rather perculiar relationship with his children, having taught them a few things that could be considered dubious.
And even if at the bottom of his heart Aurum remains a good person who can be caring, some of those lessons may have brought forth a bit of a greed issue for the hybrid. Not denying his father's wish to bond with him throughout his kitty years, Aurum was taught the basic skills needed to search for treasure and uphold it under his possession, always gathering more, in hopes of one day inheriting his father's full legacy as the champion of all treasures... Which was a far cry from the fair guardian that he had been in the olden times.
But Aurum doesn't particularly care for morals sometimes; he loves the thrill of a good game, specially if he can win a big prize at the end.
Relationships:
- Zecora: Aurum has always been and will always be his mother's fluffy kitten. No matter how big he is, or where he decides to move to next in the forest or jungle, she can't manage to stay mad with her fuzzy child for too long. Their relationship is warm most of all, despite any conflict or heated arguments that may arise due to Aurum's prideful attitude at times. His mother taught him the value of patience, calm, understanding, knowledge, kindness, and independence... After all, if she hadn't, their whole family would go bankrupt while throwing fishes down the little brother/youngest child's gullet.
- Nemean Dreamcatcher : The relationship he forged with his older sister is peculiar at least and amusing at worst; when they were rather young and Aurum was nothing more than a lanky mess of spindly legs and fur, he tended to look up to his sister a lot and even hide behind her shorter frame at any given signal of danger. Nowadays though, he still looks up to his sister... While simultaneously looking down. Growing to be almost as large as their father himself, the tables turned rather dramatically between Aurum and Nemean, as he is now capable of picking her up by her scruff and dragging his little older sister anywhere he wants. Despite their bickering and jab exchanges, the duo is secretly very warm towards one another, not admiting to it, but loving to share their nap time together, and hunting grounds as well.

Facts/Miscellaneous:
Aurum loves corn cakes. Don’t touch ‘em, they're his. All of them.
He really has an affinity for swimming despite the fact that water ruins his fluffy mane and it takes hours to dry out.
His most valuable possession is an ancient stone totem of a roc with a long tail and magical properties. Don't ask him where he got it from.
Aurum owns a pet Roc. ( A mythical, gigantic eagle that could eat a dragon.)
His sheer love for exploring ruins and new places in general made Aurum turn to a semi-nomadic lifestyle after he hit his twenties.
The hybrid thinks of foals as annoying and noisy more often than not, specially because they're not easily swayed by his gimmicks.
Although he has a hand-like appendage at the end of his tail, Aurum is far too heavy to hang from those bony hooks, and his tail is mostly stiff, packing many tendons, muscles, and a lot of power for fighting.
Despite the fact that he has such power, being a large predator like he is makes hunting stealthily a difficult task, so he uses his dark coat to catch prey at night.
The mohawk going down his sturdy tail is made of interlocked strands of stiff fur, being semitransparent and water resistant in quality, making some sort of sail that helps him quickly swim through murky waters from his homeland, the Everfree forest.
Aurum is just a big kitty. Feed him fish and you'll hear him purring like a lawnmower.
Don't accept his invites for a quick nap. He will proceed to sit on you for the next sixteen hours, it's all a complex ploy to crush you under his fluffy, hulking frame.
