Not stupid. Same number of syllables/ mel-el...ani/anor ~~ Rigby/Rogers
I came frightening close to living and dying like Eleanor Rigby.
Trying to pick up tiny shattered pieces after a wedding, like rice on the floor. I lived in a pit. Tried at least, to make it a dream. Was very good at waiting at the window. Exceptional at wearing a face that I kept by the door.
Who was it all for? I was one of the most lonely people. I saw myself as a tragic and unlovely woman.
I was married to a real Father Mckenzie, wrote sermons and no one came near. Wiped off the dirt and left me for dead.
I've been resurrected dholms. I came back from the dead. I am part of an intricate plan.
Very nice to hear from you, by the way.
I was looking tonight at several retro compositions I have been working on. I want to follow through on the decision I said I had made. I think which comes next, to the finish line, can't be predicted yet.
Don't place any bets. I almost went in a straight line to do something with the MUM advertisement. Almost. I should know better than to say for sure what is going to happen when it comes to art.
I once had an amazing collection of ephemera. It was lost in a series of floods. I would appear to be a pathological liar if I told all the crazy stuff that has happened in my past life.
I currently fight my own paradox. I see dA as a place where I can keep all that is behind me tucked out of sight.
The victim crown can have it's delights, but it is such a distraction for all concerned, and kind of a drag.
In all senses of the word, a drag.
But I can't tell the miracles, or the victories, without bringing all the battle scars into the light as well. There is a way. I will find it.
I was the girl in the maze.
Are you the boy in the box? Lyrics from the song that goes along with one of the creations currently in my fav gallery. I'll send the link for it to you.
Perhaps you already found it. I think you'd enjoy it. The artist provides a link beyond dA for a song to go with the image. Very delicious for the senses, especially if you like melancholy.
I will note the thumb over, or find the right pigeon to send to your roof.

i've been keeping this around so i can read it again,...
lately,...over and over.
it's so beautiful and poetic.
written art.
it's a painting waiting to happen.
maybe a series of paintings.
maybe i'll attempt one.
maybe it'll be worthy.
maybe.
until then i'll just keep it around.
are you still around melanierogers?
hope so.

Interesting timing that I find you are here. I'm just wandering back in after a time away, and caching up slowly. I'd love to see more of your art. You create with that high impact muted way of yours. Like your avatar, as I glance up at that. Hidden and revealing at the same time. Love paradox. You are one of the greats, in every way. Thank you for visiting me and leaving such a warm and inspiring comment.

Watercolor! Another medium I hate because I'm a control freak. I can't believe this is just practice. It's gorgeous.

I really like this image. It reminds me of old wall paintings in Italy...
