Hello everyone!

My first semester at Uni is finally over and I can get back to my own drawings. I had so many assignments and so much work to be finalized along with some procrastination I barely had any time to draw. But now I'm back and at it again until my second semester starts in a few weeks.

So I've decided to redraw a mermaid I've drawn for Mermay: fav.me/dcayi99
In my last drawing, I wasn't entirely happy with how she turned out. She turned out a bit awkward and I think it's because I rushed it so much so I could catch up on some days I missed, but because I was on a tight schedule I couldn't keep up with any other Mermay posts either.

Anyway despite that I felt like the 'jellyfish mermaid' deserved to be redrawn because regardless of how negatively I think of the drawing I could see the potential in her design and I knew that I could make it look so much better, so here it is. I'm so happy with how this one turned out. It kinda felt like I gave my last mermaid justice. I worked at a steadier pace and took my time. I guess if something doesn't work out the first time just try again because if you keep trying it's bound to work eventually.

Don't rush things, work in your own natural pace, you'll love the final result then...
