Darkchylde is an American comic book character created in 1996 by Randy Queen. It was originally published by Maximum Press, and later by Image Comics, through Homage Comics, a publishing imprint of Wildstorm. Subsequent projects would by published by Darkchylde Entertainment, through Wowio.Darkchylde is the story of Ariel Chylde, a cursed teen who can become the creatures from her many nightmares, and then must save her small town from the forces of darkness she's set free.
so i know theyve already got a girl for the movie, but she looks nothing like Ariel. i think alisha cuthbert would be a good suit as shes no stranger to horror and gore aqnd lets face it as well as being hot as hell the gal can act. i think shes still young enough that she could pull off an 18 yr old

WOW! That's pretty damn cool. I have to agree that Alisha Cuthbert would make a great-looking Ariel, but we'll have to see how the other actress does. Do you know if they're using the same girl from the Darkchylde test footage shot last year (Renee Cataldo)?

i assume so, i dont think im alone in thinking when she was talking about the charcter in the test footage that she sounded like she was reading off a script....i dunno, she just doesnt ecactly seem like a great actress to me, more the kind youd have in a lame unconected sequel to a movie

Well, I think Renee comes from a modeling background; I haven't heard of any other film projects she's been involved with. Overall, she is a beautiful young lady, but she just doesn't have the right "look" for Ariel Chylde. Also, her 1-minute bit of test footage doesn't tell us much about her acting abilities. Maybe she's great, but we just can't tell from what we've seen. I remember another Darkchylde fan saying that singer/actress Ashley Hartman would make a great Ariel.

yeaj, but i suppose if we had every actor and actress we wanted in a movie actually in it, then movies would be a lot more successful
