I don't know why I called him Space Cat, he is neither a cat nor does he travel in space. But the title sounded cool at the time. I actually did a background for this picture but I don't particularly like it; if you'd like to see it you can find it on my webpage. I tried to fit two different styles of drawing in one picture and yet make it seem like they can co-exist in the same space. The girl is human and so she's drawn more naturally with smooth lines and soft shadows while Space Cat is stranger looking with angles and slightly sharper lighting. I added mice since they are cute, remind me of fairy tales (since I was thinking the girl as a Alice in Wonderland type character) and involve Space Cat more into the picture. It's a watch she's showing him (mesh of Alice in Wonderland and the idea that they deal with 'time and Space'). I havn't really thought up a story for them, but I like Space Cats design so I've drawn another picture of him, which is also in my webpage. Comments are always welcome ^^Related content

This is terribly cute, especially because Space Cat seems not to have he slightest inkling of what lost-girl is talking about.

I like this. The colors and expressions are awesome, and I agree that it has an Alice in Wonderland feel to it. I also love the touch with the mice.
