~An etching I did at school.
I first did a collage and etched into a plastic card. Then I printed it on hand-made paper.
The theme is memento mori and vanitas:
time is flowing by
beauty fades away
be aware of the end

wow, this is filled with so much detail, and all with such fine lines! I especially love the rose in the corner ^^ The more I look at this, the more I see emerging from the picture, and the more the meaning becomes clear... the clocks at odd angles, & the various timepieces scattered around are very powerful.
