So, I started playing around with a sketch of Jinx, because I want to do a drawing of her next. I started out with a basic gesture drawing of a possible pose (1), which I expanded upon, while looking at a typical model reference sheet photo thingy I find alot ([link] ). Decided, well, that I just didn't like it. Then I'm like "It's the face." So I did a close up view of her face, again from my own mind plus references (2). Again, didn't like it. Decided it was the relationship of her head to her body. And then, I'm like "Why don't I just grab some screenshots from Lightspeed, and just sketch them out?" And so I did (3,4,5).

I think I would like to do more practice like this. It would be awesome if one day I could do a comic strip! A kind of condensed version of my story, maybe? Really, at this point, I'm considering illustrating a picture for each of my chapters, and posting it all on a separate website. I think that'd be pretty sweet...
