Description Yet another in my teddy bear series. Yes, I love teddy bears, and I loved this little kid I drew randomly holding a teddy bear. He's got a bandaid on his arm - don't ask me how he got it. Maybe went to the doctor's and had a shot, whatever. But really, you know, the band-aid is representative of other hurts that one can have, but a teddy bear can help nearly every kind of hurt. I love teddy bears....

Thank you so much!! ^_^ I'm actually working on coloring this (halfway through coloring it, my computer decided to go *pthhhhpppt!* and not cooperate with photoshop, so it was at the shop for a looong time). I've gone crazy about teddy bears. Build-A-Bear Workshop is my favorite place ever.

For some reason, I didn't have many teddy bears. I had a lot of other plushies, though. I had a frog, a tucan, two swans, a pegasus, a dragon that was also a puppet, and eventually a llama, among other creatures that aren't coming to mind at the moment.

I still hug my plushies and buy new ones, and I'm proud of it! *brandishes her Remy plushy*

haha, you're an anti-Teddy-plushy-collector. I used to avoid teddy bears too. Then I got my Ken, and later my Robyn. I <3 my teddy bears now!

It's not so much that I specifically avoided them, it's just that I liked plushies of other animals better. If I were to get a bear, I'd want it more like a real bear and less...cutesy.

I never had a teddy bear that I hugged. For me, it was stuffed cats. But I stopped the cuddle-something-while-sleeping habit when I was seven or eight. There's only been one time I reverted:

When my mother took me to east Texas because she was leaving my father. I held tightly to my 10" talking Zuko... I was feeling very insecure. I was seventeen, by the way.

I have a red Build-A-Bear that I got for christmas this year named Robyn whom I've come to hug alot when I need consoling. For me, when I was younger, it wasn't stuffed animals which comforted me, but my baby blanket. My baby blanket is now so worn and fallen-apart that it can fit into my fist. Not so comforting than when I could throw it over my head. So I use my teddy bear as a back-up hug.

I didn't have a comfort blanket, either. I suppose it's because our house flooded twice. I didn't ditch my pacifier until my 6th birthday, though. My three year old sister already ditched hers by flushing it down the toilet.

I still have my baby pillow, 18 years later. Not completely sure where it is, though.
