Created as a birthday gift for ~Axelicious4life . It took about 6 months, but only because my dad was difficult to motivate, and had to supervise all tool use.

The cost for both was about 70$, price might vary depending on material quantity for creating a single one.

Materials: PVC pipe, plywood, Latex spray paint, acrylic paint, hockey tape, duct tape, plastic chain, screws.

Tools: Band saw, scroll saw, electric sander, screwdriver.
