The continuation of the thorns in the background are quite amazing....really gives it that sense of dank, gloomy, and forboding.

Dark, haunting, regretful in a way. It's desolate and creepy. It radiates a trapped feeling.
The dew on the thorns in a way seems to represent a bit of hope to me, the last drop before ones moral dies. The freedom and power of water amongst the scenery makes me think that there must be an escape. The fragile spiderweb is like the human spirit after much hardship, dainty, small, easy to destroy the links but rarely can be completely removed.

Hi Melissa... I just wanted to share like the others in saying that this looks really fantastic. I love how the greys seem to bring out some blue as well. The shapes of the thorns themselves look awesome too... it's interesting for me personally as I just submitted a thorn-picture as well!
