Description
Printed out the lines (I never color the originals D: ) and tried out my new Faber-Castell Polychromos and the white gel pen I got the last days.Started with the shirt and was very unsatisfied.... ._.
My cheap colored pencils create a way more smoother result while the polychromos are so hard that the colored area looks just ugly and rugged. Tried more pressure while drawing but mehh....still not good.
So I failed the shirt and switched to color everything else with copics....just setting accents or shadows with the polychromos.
I btw only own 12 copics in mostly really weird colors + I overdid it with the gel pen, but this is just a try and I already did the flats for this pic in OpenCanvas.

nice work! i have a skin tone set - which i use mostly - my other copics are random colours DX i so want a gek pen Cx I love the trousers here so so much! <3 and the bright orange and yelows on the coat are done so well!! and oh? you have opencanvas? =0 which version? <3

Mhh, i colored the trousers first with colored pencils and later with copics - did not make it better but yay
I'm amazed how well my scanner handled the copics and yellow was the only color which i had left xD
And yeah....couldn't use Gimp anymore - it's such a horrible programm. I have OpCanvas version 5.5.

i remember my scanner always used to kill everything DX i dont have one anymore though so photos it must be XD
