This is actualy a joke I've done with one of my mom's old photos. I love how happy she was when she found the watermelon. I tryed to do something retro. I am not confident with colour pencil yet so I am just adding it some details.Please let me know what you think

At 99 centavos, she ought to be happy at that price! She reminds me of the Dole girl in old fruit ads; the Portuguese puts me in mind of a lazy post-siesta afternoon (presumably in old Rio!)
The colour of the melon on grey makes it pop, too.
