the construction of the channel, victory of the communism against forces of nature? have no idea - the inscriptions were tore down after the 1989 revolution...but i think it should be considered as an work of art. it's about 25 m high, made of stainless steel and lays in the middle of nowhere, at the edge of the Danube-Black Sea Channel...almost unknown a few years ago, only those who worked at the channel's construction back in the 70's-80's knew about it.
