I made this with Japan in my mind and heart.
You will all have heard of the terrible disaster that happened there. I wanted to make something for the victims, even though this doesn't really help them I just saw everything on the news and somehow i was so shocked i kept staring at the tv with my mouth hanging open
The point where a little "dot" being a dog trying to escape the tsunami was crushed between houses and cars was the moment i burst out it tears...
I've been to Japan a couple of times so maybe that's why the whole happening feels so "close" and even more shocking O_o

I got the idea of drawing paper cranes came from the action a group was holding. They asked everyone to make a paper crane for japan and it's victims so that they would eventually have a 1000 of them.
I.... am not very good in, and fond of that kind of crafts 8'D So i decided to put my love and attention to drawing them <3
I hope the thought reaches them somehow!
