He sure is a lonely figure but not Peter Jackson's foolish one. It's certain he's not a permanent member of the White Council such as Galadriel Elrond Gandalf and Saruman. But seeing him summoned to one of these councils is not completely unlikely imo.

I always felt Radagast had a mandatory seat as one of the three Istari still remaining in the West. however, getting him to leave Rhosgobel & actually attend a meeting might be a sometime thing, depending on his moods versus the ever-presence of the Nature he loves.

The movie version was a lot of fun, but I think this version is a bit more appropriate for a wizard!

Now that's a Radagast I can like! I've never been much a fan of the movies version, he's been too much of an oddball there. That's actually something I can agree on with Saruman
(I do pretty much like his bunny sled though. I want a couple of those! )
