Drawing gnarly canines as one's vent art isn't an original idea by any means but I don't care. It felt good to draw and that is all that matters.Words (typically mumbled through tears and muffled by my mom's comforting shoulder) will always be my preferable tool of emotional ventilation but sometimes...
the words just don't come.Β
The sorrow doesn't seem to have an origin, the anger doesn't seem to have a target and one just feels..."blue"."Blue" and empty and tired and that's where drawing said gnarly canines really helps.
These ones are manifestations of my emotional side's greatest flaw. They speak fire and don't realize that the smoke clouds their eyes and hearts for better judgment as well as smothers all life nearby.

darkness surrounds us all
the weight of the world is so much to bare
having the feeling that nobody cares
i realized in life, nothing has to rhyme
cause' things will happen in their own time
please understand that it's ok
not to feel loved or unhappy some days
just like my favorite song "and so i know"
comes to show, there's always a place where you can go
whether its in or outside your mind
life is the way it is, no need to rewind
the harder it is, the stronger you get
even if you had enough of this ****
remember, we're here and won't let you fall
even though darkness surrounds us all
