reminded me of the lake district, but it's in America, isn't it?

America, everything is so big there, not like lil old Britain.

A very beautiful scene

It is so beautiful, especially in the snow (I like snow )

Oh yes, Britain has it's beauty in many other aspects.

4000ft? Thats taller than the lake district by an impressive amount!

LoL...the spot I was standing to take the pics was 4000...the top there is about 5500...my favorite spot at the Trinity lakes is around 8000 [link] (forgive the links-but the thumbs don't show up right)...
How high up is the Lake District?? do you get snow?

scafell Pike is the tallest mountain inn England, and resides in the lake district, but it rises only 3,209 ft. At it's top, it is much colder, and I would imagine it experiences snow most years. As for the lake district in general, I suppose they see a little more snow than usual, which means they may get snow, and then again, may not. Odd the weather in Britain. A couple of years ago, we experienced winters without snow, then last winter came with snows almost 3 ft deep. That's the most I've ever experienced, but I suppose it was more in less urban areas.

Yeah, England aint as big, but it still has it's beauty. Not that I would refuse a trip to trinity lakes
