It's okay! She passed away from skin cancer and I think she was 16 or 17 so she already lived a good long life.

Hopefully! The oldest cat we ever had was between 18 and 20. Her name was Susie and she passed away in Oct. 2006. When I was a kid, people claimed their cats live to 20 but I never believed them until she proved it to me. I hope your cat will live that long or longer. According to the Guiness World Book of Records 1997 Edition, the old to have ever lived was 36 yearls old and the oldest mother cat was 33 years old.
