Maud Pie moved to the Crystal Empire to study the crystals there. It came with the added benefit of living near Pinkie ofc lol. As she was having trouble adjusting, she ended up joining a support group where she met Sunburst. Both bonded over being massive nerds who were awkward. Over the months, the two of them got closer.
They have two children; Lepidolite Luster (she/her) and Copper Canyon (he/him).
