Cover for the sixth chapter of my story 'The Fallen Guardian'.(Melody: [link] )
This is maybe the best moment to describe the change in Ryujins heart while spending time with Melody and her PokΓ©mon, so I just had to draw it for chapter number six. Well, it's not (completely) on his mind, but the Shiny-Lugia starts to need his trainer/Tamer in his life. She gives him some sort of peace, which he never felt before since he refused his destiny as the Guardian of the Sea, so he can't stay away from her, though he prefers to be for himself. He doesn't want to need anything or anyone, but he's on the other hand to weak to be alone/lonely now, when his heart reacts on Melody.
I guess, you can't tell how hard it was to draw the background, hm? Oh yes, it's of course no masterpiece, but believe me: I'm awful with drawing things like that. I hate cushions and blankets very, very much, because I just CAN'T create them in a believable way. It's the same with the wall β I needed help from google for the result you can see now. And if you want to know my opinion, I think it's a great shame, that I'm better with 'living beings' than 'dead objects'. Maybe I should practice some extra tries of those things, so that I become at least a little bit more used with object-drawing...

Uhm, yes? Ever heard of 'Shiny PokΓ©mon'...?

However, of course it's a Shiny, because the story behind the picture focuses on this being (as well as the human you can see here). After all, I wrote that text, after I was so lucky to catch a Shiny-Lugia in my SoulSilver version.
And maybe Shiny-Lugia look a bit strange, but since I know the probable reason of their color-scheme, I truly started to like it. Red and white are the colors of the coral-palace of the japanese sea-dragon-deity Ryujin - who is himself an obvious basis for Lugia. (And so, I named my Shiny after him.)
