Disney seemed so focused with the fawn version to consider being creative with the adult Bambi as well. Yet at the same time Bambi in the original book had more major focus as a stag than in the film.

One thing I didn't like as much in Bambi's actual adult design is that compared to the Great Prince, his mother and adult Faline who have top dorsal stripes on the tops of their heads that reach down their noses, Bambi's just stops at his forehead. I kinda cringe noticing that cause I kept thinking he was half bald. I think having it reach down his nose would've been more fitting.
Regardle, I'd still take adult Bambi over overdone and overrated fawn Bambi. We see him a lot as a child because they did less with his adult version. In the original book(I've seen the movies first), Bambi was a fawn for one third and for two thirds he was an adult. But in the movie they practically stretched it long(with unnecessary scenes like the rain and ice skating scene, etc killing time) to make up two thirds and cutting his adulthood short for just one third. That one third though had great, but sadly underrated moments like his romance with Faline, his fights, taking the Great Prince's place and having kids becoming a parent himself. Oh just thinking all this makes me whenever looking back at the film I rather skip two thirds and just rewatch the last third with it's moments while it's lasts to keep fawn Bambi off my mind at times. And we got adult Simba(a character similar to Bambi) given equal credit like his younger self because they did more with his adult version.

this is amazing, i think people should do more of bambi as an adult cus they put Ronno as teh stronger one and though thats true in the movies one day i bet he would be so much stronger. This is awsome so cool i love it. Good job. He does have his mothers features but his fathers strength
