I'm sort of doing this for each of my OCs I guess. Except for Philippines/Maricela cuz she's pretty much sussed.

Anywho, ever since I got into APH OC fandom, I always knew I wanted to make a Colombia OC. Colombia seems like such a vibrant country with a great culture and fascinating history behind it. And what I envisioned in my Colombia OC was a strong, very confident woman with a lot of sass, energy... and she's pretty funky too!

So that's how I envisioned Carmen Bolivar Montoya. She's got bundles of energy, she's got a lot of sass, she really loves to put herself out there and generally be the fabulous Latina she knows she is. The coffee's probably what fuels that woman, sigh. 8I She's a big fan of the beauty pageant scene and is rivals with her sister Venezuela over that. Let's put it this way. Two highly confident ladies who both think they're the best are basically neighbours as well. The personality clashing happens on a regular basis. Carmen's very quick tempered if you push the right buttons, otherwise she kind of treats herself as a carefree spirit... which is probably more annoying than endearing //slapped - oh yes, and she's a huge gossip! XDD

Yeah, the Gran Colombia gang is her main family, but she sort of does and doesn't get along with them. Panama's her little sister figure for sure, but Colombia was never totally satisfied with what went on between them and America... Meanwhile Ecuador's a cool brother until he sides with Venezuela (which he kind of does quite a lot) and Venezuela's the frenemy. Mostly the enemy, but there's been times where they've had each other's backs and when they're a team, they're a force to be reckoned with. Too bad they're mostly all 8I with each other rather than 8D

Carmen's been through a lot of tough times, which is also why she projects this loud personality. She's a hard worker and she refuses to be seen as vulnerable to others. She's a weird mix of beauty queen - tomboy, to put it bluntly. She loves roughing it out, but she also loves being noticed for her beauty (she adores compliments, sigh). Carmen's also one of those types to act first, think later. She's better with improvisation than carefully thinking things out. She's a livewire, this one. 8I

I feel like Carmen's my second favourite OC after Maricela. I think she's got a greater potential for comedy. //slapped
