I really like this.
I love that you've got Carton/Darnay as the worst/best of times, and Lucy sort of between them, because that's really how it was in the novel... (I always wanted Carton to have her though. ^_^" ) I paricularly like how the Lady is kind of faint on the bottom, sort of fading in...it reminds me of Carton and how he slowly began to love Lucy and how he slowly began to have no choice as his fate became set...

I like the effect of the guillotine at the bottom of the picture. (Even more effective because of the scrolling required to see it. It comes as a supprise.)
