Chapter 6: Scar of the past
Lin’s POV
I woke up early in the morning to the sound of dishes being washed. I got out of bed quickly, remembering that today my dad had a “surprise” for me.
I ran into the kitchen and hugged my father he laughed
“Wow, someone’s excited”.
I grinned and he picked me up, putting me on his shoulders.
“Where’s mommy?” I asked, tilting my head
“She had to go to work today, but I am going to take you out today” He said smiling.
My dad liked to travel, so I guess I knew what I was in for.
“Where?” I asked
“ We are going on a hike up the mountains, its not that far from here” He put me down “You better go get ready”
I smiled and got changed, running back into the kitchen a few minutes later.
He smiled and put me on his shoulders, and we were off.
