Aaaaaaaah, the opening song is sort of creepy but beautiful at the same time. Combining that with Yuuka is just badass. I love the lightning in this so much, and that expression (tear + smile? YES PLZ). :heart. This is now my favourite Yuuka fanart.

Yeah, I thought a piece like this would stick out like a sore thumb among the overflow of red flushed chibis, but I guess it's a good disguise xD
The song is a bit..nostalgic and feels like the singer regrets, I just thought Yuuka one night when listening to it and..this came out. x'D Also I thought the tear wouldn't be that clear, but I guess I was wrong.

Yeah, the song does have nostalgic feel to it! I can't really explain it because it felt like that when I first heard it, too. o__o I guess RoR just has endless ways to mess with our heads.
I think her expression is just fine the way it is, the tear and the smile are both really subtle which is exactly what makes them awesome. :3

I wish I could beat RoR, I'm stuck embarrassingly on the mermaid fight. xD But I just know the game and story would generate more ideas to draw. Especially since I just love to set Touhou characters into other game settings for some reason..x3

The mermaid fight was by far the hardest boss fight in the entire game! D: Don't give up though, it takes several tries but the rest of it is worth it. Oh man, RoR - despite its crappy gameplay mechanics- has one of the coolest stories in videogames. ...Well, that is, if you like surreal messed up psychological/symbolic stories like I do. ;P There's a lot of stuff I didn't get about the story but fortunately there is a site dedicated to explaining things, it's really quite brilliant.
I never thought of mixing it with Touhou but this idea intrigues me!

I love trying to figure out the symbolic meaning of stuffs, thinking about indepth stuff in games helps come with drawing ideas and such, it really is fun. xD I'll try again to beat the mermaid when I have time to play again, I just keep running out of healing items. >o<;
It was fun to think of the children at the orphanage as pc-98 characters, old timed and stuff. I forgot who I thought to be Jennifer, i had difficulties picking. ouo;

So do I! Another game series full of symbolism is Silent Hill (though I haven't played the newer ones and I don't know what they are like).
[link] Here's a video of someone beating that boss. Yeah, I remember it took about that much time and so many stabs. When you complete the game you may get access to special weapons and costumes, I think they make the game easier but I only finished it once. Searching all the items all over again is really time-consuming, so I haven't finished my replay. D:

Noooo! DDDD: SH is a must-play in the survival horror genre. If you ever get a chance, play it! I've only played the first four but I loved them (especially the first three). They're pretty old now, but still really creepy and enjoyable with messed-up characters and symbolism.
I've heard a bit about Haunting Ground but never played it. I know there's a dog in that game too. I should watch the playthrough some time.
Hmm, Brown chair... I can't remember about that but there's the octopus costume and Brown turns into a crab if you wear it. It's epic and hilarious and you get the ultimate weapon which is a frozen tuna.

Haunting Ground makes most chase scenes seem simple cause you can get chased at anytime in the game. ANY time, like the enemy can just walk through a door into the room you're in and the chase is on. you can hide and stuff, or try to kick their ass which is difficult since the main character is such a girl. xD

SH games have excellent music and stories. 
Ahaha, that sounds kind of awesome! SURPRISE CHASE at an unexpected movement. LOL but Jennifer is pretty bad at fighting too. I like how she closes her eyes before she aims the gun and pulls the trigger.
Frozen tuna and the octopus costume remain as the most epic unlockable extras in gaming history.

I should really try and get atleast one of the Silent hill games, or atleast watch videos on youtube about it, might really get sucked into it. xD
Also surprise chases are fun, it's creepy how you hear the enemy's footsteps, before they enter the room you're in and the dog also starts to growl and go around as if he was ready to attack.
And I bet, I really need to finish Rule of Rose some time soon. xD For the octopus costume if nothing else.

In RoR, you have to pick up an item called "October Ticket" during the "Once Upon A Time" chapter to get the octopus costume. Oh, and yeah, you were right, Brown can also turn into a chair. xD Which is pretty awesome. A barking piece of furniture~
Also, try not to spoil the game (unless you already did) before you finish it, because you can only have one 'first' playthrough.
