Description An oil painting completion off my sketch work, 'Sea Monsters'. Done on an 8" by 10" canvas. I like it, particularly since it shows how much I'm progressing through my paintings.

The scene itself is of three ships in the middle of a stormy sea, encountering a huge beast with seven heads. With this, I used some reference to Christianity: the three ships represent the Holy Trinity, encountering the seven-headed Beast Of Apocalypse.

Thanks I was actually a little nervous when painting this, since it was the second time I painted the sea; but I'm glad it turned out pretty good
